Abstract
This paper deals with the correction of surface errors in a scanned model of a gyroplane which is the subject of the IMAF (Innovative measurement of airspeed of unconventional flying vehicles) project.Nowadays, advanced technologies are an important aspect of developing and advancing new technologies. Technologies play a huge role in the advancement of manufacturing, it should be noted that first and foremost such technologies are aimed at product development and improvement. In some cases, when creating a 3D model, you should not follow the standard path, gradually creating a CAD model. Sometimes it is more rational to use 3D scanning methods and only then, with the help of reverse engineering, reach the CAD model. Creating a CAD model in this way comes with some problems. One of them is surface defects that occur during the scanning process. The article discusses a practical solution to this problem. Using the available functions of the Siemens NX software, we processed the model from surface defects such as bumps, ledges, and depressions.
