Abstract
木薯是全球第六大粮食作物,是我国南方重要的经济作物.中国木薯的研究起步较晚,历经80多年几代人的努力,从起步到发展壮大,取得了较多突破性成果.笔者综述了中国木薯在种质资源收集与应用、育种、栽培管理及综合开发利用等方面的重要研究进展并提出未来的发展方向,为木薯科学研究与生产提供借鉴参考.
