IOT Based Road Traffic Monitoring System Using Energy Efficient Routing Scheme

The demand for traffic surveillance is growing at an distressing rate around the globe. India is where this is especially true. A better traffic flow is being ensured by the development of better technologies, thanks to the internet of things (IoT). These systems must be uncomplicated, inexpensive, logical, and simple to execute in addition to being “smart.” The architecture of a traffic monitoring system with an energy-efficient routing strategy (EERS) that uses wireless sensor nodes is shown in this work. NetSim is used to create the scenario, both subjective and statistical analysis of the simulation findings are done in terms of different rates. and energy consumption is taken as key performance parameter.
