摘要

•The influence of a saturated liquid porous medium on TEG performance was investigated experimentally.•TEG has been tested for three modes flat plate, porous medium, and Ethanol saturated porous medium.•Aluminium and copper particles were used as porous medium.•The liquid-saturated porous medium provided the best TEG performance.•Liquid saturated Cu particles boosted TEG performance by 149%.
