Let (X, d) be a complete metric space and f,g : X -> X be two operators satisfying a contraction condition of Rus' type. In this paper, we will study existence, uniqueness, data dependence, well-posedness, Ostrowski property and Ulam-Hyers stability for the common fixed point problem x = f (x) = g(x).
