Metals Chemistry in Biological Systems in honor of Prof. Giovanni Natile

Herein, two GaIIIcorroles-borneol hybrids were synthesized and characterized. A detailed analysis of the electronic structures was carried out by comparing the results obtained via spectroscopy, electrochemistry and theoretical calculations. Also, these GaIIIcorrole-borneol hybrids could be strongly interacted with ctDNA, and their tunable properties were modulated by meso-substituents.
