Abstract
During the isolation time caused by COVID-19 pandemic, distance learning has become one of the keyways to provide worldwide education. The Department of Neurology no. 1 of State University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Nicolae Testemițanu” faced for the first time the transition from traditional training to on-line education. Teachers were asked to switch to on-line synchronous teaching within a few days already in March 2020. To do this efficiently, and to ensure that the learning targets were achieved, we created an anonymous on-line student survey. The results show that, in general, students have a positive attitude towards distance learning and considered that the assimilation of teaching materials in this way can be an alternative to the traditional method of learning. Most students (84 percent) who have completed the on-line neurology course want the on-line learning elements to be applied subsequently. On-line learning is not ideal, but better than none.
