On the generalized dimension and codimension of simple games

•We generalize the dimension and codimension concepts of simple games.•We study this generalization for strict subclasses of weighted voting games.•We characterize the games that are intersection/union of pure weighted voting games.•We compute the generalized (co)dimension of every simple game up to 6 players.
