Neotropical urban forest allergenicity and ecosystem disservices can affect vulnerable neighborhoods in Bogota, Colombia

•Analyzed how aerobiology, structure, and diversity affects Neotropical urban tree allergenicity.•Approximately half of trees are introduced and 40% had no available allergenicity information.•Findings indicates that trees with higher allergenicity trend towards specific sectors in the city.•Representative vulnerable neighborhoods had few trees and services/disservices.•Proper tree species selection can reduce allergies and tropical ecosystem disservices.
