摘要
•Air-steam gasification of spherocylindrical biomass in fluidized bed is simulated.•The effect of particle aspect ratio is systematically explored.•Gas porosity near the fuel injection location is high due to the volatile release.•Enlarging the particle aspect ratio can accelerate biomass conversion processes.•More particles show a nearly vertical orientation in the fluidization region.
