Health evaluation of power transformer using deep learning neural network

•The Leaky-ESN generates the related data to expand the dataset to solve the small sample data problem of the power transformer.•The SE network makes DRSN focus on the relationships between channels and reduce the architecture of the network.•The proposed method extracts different features from the generated data to obtain the health assessment of the power transformer.•The proposed method automatically learns the importance of the characteristics of different channels and filter diverse noisy data.
