民猪,原称东北民猪,是黑龙江省唯一的地方猪种,是国家级猪种资源保护品种,依体型大小分为大民猪、二民猪和荷包猪,二民猪曾经是我国主要生产猪种,具有繁殖性能高、抗逆性能强和肉质性能优的特点.历史上曾利用民猪培育出新金猪、东北花猪、三江白猪、哈白猪、松辽黑猪等品种.
