Enzyme-bimetallic hybrid catalyst for one-pot chemoenzymatic reactions

•A facile and general method to synthesis enzyme-bimetallic hybrid catalyst was constructed.•With the confinement of enzyme aggregates, ultrafine bimetallic nanoclusters were synthesized and highly dispersed on enzymes.•The bimetallic nanoalloy showed excellent activity because of the strong bimetallic synergistic effect.•The highly active enzyme-bimetallic hybrid catalyst rendered the one-pot chemoenzymatic reaction to perform under mild conditions.
