Durable drag reduction and anti-corrosion for liquid flows inside lubricant-infused aluminum/copper capillaries

摘要
•Metal capillaries with the liquid infused (inner) surface (LIS) are fabricated.•The drag reduction and anti-corrosion of LIS metal capillaries are investigated.•The slip length of LIS capillaries is correlated with the lubricant viscosity.•Re range of LIS capillary durability can be twice of superhydrophobic capillaries.•The friction factor of LIS capillaries can be reduced by up to ∼30%.
