Abstract
To realize the effective evaluation of the stray light suppression capability of the star sensor, the on-orbit operation of the star sensor was simulated, and the signal to noise ratio (SNR) was used as the index and test parameter to evaluate its stray light suppression ability. Firstly, the principle of SNR evaluation model is deduced from the point source transmittance (PST) model. Next, the magnitude signal simulation system is designed to simulate the detection target of the star sensor. Finally, the experiment verifies the rationality of the SNR evaluation model. The results show that the test value of SNR corresponds well with the theoretical value. When the SNR is greater than the detection threshold, the stray light suppression capability meets its detection requirements for limit detection magnitudes. Evaluating the stray light suppression capability of the star sensor with the SNR model can more intuitively judge whether it will be affected by stray light during on-orbit operation, and effectively verify the optical performance of the star sensor and its adaptability to the space environment.
