摘要
•Fluoroscopically-guided intervention has the potential to cause tissue reaction.•Guidelines endorse patient follow-up for high dose (≥5 Gy) in a single procedure.•Although human epidermal turnover time is about 5 weeks, complete recovery from skin effects may take much longer or even beyond 40 weeks if complete recovery occurs at all.•Patients may undergo multiple procedures, as frequent as 37.4% in this study.•Patient follow-up needs to consider cumulative exposure, 5–14 Gy in 2–30 days.
