摘要
•tRNS is a non-invasive neuromodulation technique becoming increasingly widespread in neuroscience.•tRNS has well defined effects on central motor excitability which critically depend on stimulation parameters.•The main tRNS effects are in the direction of an increase of motor excitability.•More studies are necessary to delineate tRNS effects at behavioural level, both in healthy and patient population.
