Microarray analysis of canine osteosarcoma cells exposed to Colombian propolis

•Propolis effect on the gene expression profile of canine osteosarcoma cells was assessed.•Microarray analysis was used to identify differentially expressed genes.•The pathways involved in propolis cytotoxicity were analysed.•Propolis reduced cell viability and exerted a cytotoxic effect on the cells.•Some pathways were similarly affected by propolis and doxorubicin.
