Assessments of three evapotranspiration products over China using extended triple collocation and water balance methods

The GLEAM product has the smallest RMSE in most of Chinese mainland compared with the ERA and MODIS products, in both ETC method and water balance method. Based on the evaluation result, the distributions of the well-performed ET products at both the grid scale and basin scale are given across China. Furthermore, ETC method is an effective choice in evaluating different products without knowing the true value.
