VARIABILITY IN THE BLINDED INTERPRETATION OF niPGTA RESULTS

Accuracy of PGTA still remains a controversial topic in the field of assisted reproduction. Variability in biopsy technique, as well as other practices, may lead to differing results. Differences in the number of cells biopsied, as well as nuances of the biopsy/tubing procedure may impact DNA quality and influence the calls from the genetics lab. Non-invasive PGTA (niPGTA) is an emerging technology analyzing cell-free DNA (cfDNA) from culture media to determine chromosomal status of blastocysts while avoiding the variable and potentially damaging biopsy procedure.
