Heavy-ion physics as a link to gravitational interactions

Phenomenology of heavy ion collisions studied at RHIC indicates that the quark-gluon plasma is produced in equilibrium with acceleration and vorticity. By virtue of the equivalence principle the acceleration can be replaced by external gravitational field. Hence, studying the heavy ion collisions allows to get insight into gravitational interactions. We elaborate this point on a few examples.
