摘要
To present the application and efficacy of marsupialization for the treatment of conjunctival inclusion cyst in Stevens-Johnson syndrome. Retrospective case study of four patients (five eyes) presenting with conjunctival inclusion cysts in the aftermath of Stevens-Johnson syndrome, of whom two were male and two were female, and of whom one had bilateral cysts and the remaining three had unilateral ones. The patients were all treated by fornix reconstruction with conjunctival inclusion cyst marsupialization rather than excising it. After the operation, the conjunctival sacs were deepened and the average depth was 4.0 mm. Follow-ups which ranged from 7 months to 3 years (19 months on average, the median was 14 months) showed that in four eyes the conjunctival sacs were significantly deepened and in one eye it became shallow. For patients of Stevens-Johnson syndrome with large conjunctival inclusion cysts and severe symblepharon, fornix reconstruction with conjunctival inclusion cyst marsupialization exhibits superior surgical effects of deepening conjunctival sac and relieving symblepharon.Furthermore, this surgery can avoid recurrence caused by incomplete cystectomy.
