Sewing Thread Consumption for 602 and 605 Cover Stitches Using Geometrical and Multi-linear Regression Models

This work aims to determine the amount of sewing thread required to stitch a specific length of woven fabric using two cover stitch types of class 600. In fact, two different methods, geometrical method and a multi-linear regression method, are proposed, to select the best one for the prediction of thread consumption in order to help industrialists to evaluate accurately the consumed amount of sewing threads.
