A Pulse Check on the Training of Adult Cardiologists in Canada: The Expanding Role of Bootcamps for Training Program Transition.

Bootcamps in medical training are used to provide focused and condensed learning opportunities for trainees. We describe the first collaborative bootcamp for first-year adult cardiology trainees in Canada. Our post-bootcamp survey of participants has illustrated its contribution to the training landscape: 85% of respondents thought that the bootcamp helped prepare them to start training and 100% of respondents would recommend the bootcamp to future cardiology residents.
