摘要
Project Based Learning (PBL) is an active learning methodology with many advantages, but also with some natural challenges to be tackled. Planification, coordination, flexibility and adaptability amonst others are required qualities that will pose challenges for teachers and students implementing PBL. This work presents a particular implementation of PBL at the University of Alicante and its evolution through fifteen years, ending being applied to a complete one-year course in the Multimedia Engineering Degree. To present this evolution, an analogy with the development cycle of a computer game is established, as the projects students develop are computer games. Same as a computer game evolves as a product through several planned versions, presented implementation has changed and developed its own "versions" until achieving its current consolidated status, that could confidently be called "the final product". This latest implementation is currently working nominally in practice, and is stable, flexible, escalable and transferable. Present work shows the value of the continuous improvement spiral a way to accumulate improvements and arriving to better implementations, also contributing the results of the experience with PBL through fifteen years, summarizing challenges and solutions adopted.
