Relationship-Based AES Security Model for Social Internet of Things

Social Internet of Things is the rising contemporary of computer science and information technology. It combines the concept of a social network with the Internet of Things and improves distributed object discovery, selection, composition of services and information. Searching for services in the SIoT is based on the use of the social structure formed by the generation of relationships between the devices. Since SIoT has wide applications, security will have the greatest impact on IoT adoption. However, SIoT lacks a security model for its applications, where each device generates data. Thus in this work, a security model is proposed that considers the relationship between devices and generates relationship keys. The standard 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard algorithm is implemented along with a relationship key to perform encryption and decryption on the data generated.
