摘要

•We studied patients with PD with persistent intolerable abdominal pain.•Thickness of rectus abdominis was significantly large in patients with abdominal pain.•Therapeutic usefulness of antiparkinsonian medications was short and limited.•The pathophysiology seems to vary.•Wearing-off of related pain and muscle contraction.
