Generic tests of CP-violation in high-$p_\text{T}$ multi-lepton signals at the LHC and beyond

If CP-violation is observed in the lepton sector, Leptogenesis may become a preferred explanation for the observed matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe. We suggest a generic search strategy for probing CP-violation in inclusive multi-lepton signals at the LHC based on simple kinematic observables odd under naive time-reversal. We illustrate our strategy by considering 4-fermion operators of the form tu$\ell\ell$ and tc$\ell\ell$ which, for natural parameter values and new physics scale in the TeV range, may generate an O(10\%) CP asymmetry that should be accessible at the LHC using existing data.
