Interobserver reliability of biplanar radiography is unaffected by clinical factors relevant to individuals at risk of pathological lower limb torsion

•Biplanar radiography produced reliable measurements of lower limb torsion.•Robustness was not systematically affected by any of the six interference factors.•Study utilized observers with diverse training background and experience.•Femoral anteversion and transmalleolar axis equivalent were the most reliable.
