摘要

The one-pot synthesis of 2,5-bis(hydroxymethyl)furan (BHMF) from biomass-derived 5-(chloromethyl)furfural (CMF) was first reported by consecutive hydrolysis and hydrogenation, which offered a new pathway for biomass-derived diol production.
