Abstract
As the core technologies in 5G, network slicing can meet the various network requirements of users. Different from traditional mobile networks, RAN slicing based mobile networks is required to consider the needs of each user, so user association should be additionally considered. Moreover, the radio resources are limited, thus user access control should also be considered. This paper proposes a RAN (Radio Access Network) slice-based scheme for smart grid scenarios. The key innovation of the proposed scheme relies on the joint optimization of resource allocation and user access control. Specifically, the scheme first performs user access control, maximizing the number of users while screening users that meet the QoS requirements. Simultaneously, it also allocates wireless bandwidth resources with the goal of maximizing network utility. Compared with several current schemes, our scheme has great advantages in terms of the number of access users screened and the amount of bandwidth consumed.
