摘要
Orbital vascular anomalies (OVAs) are a heterogeneous group of pathologies that can frequently present in the orbital cone, the periorbital region, or within the orbit itself. OVAs are divided into tumors and malformations. Its most frequent clinical presentation is exophthalmos, associated or not with alteration of the visual axis. In addition, they can present acute complications, such as intralesional hemorrhage or cellulitis among the most frequent, and chronic complications, such as amblyopia and long-term visual acuity impairment. The evolution of imaging techniques, the use of new drugs and the use of innovative procedures in interventional radiology have made it possible to obtain a significant improvement in the diagnostic and therapeutic processes of these patients, allowing a precise diagnosis and treatment.
