Correlation of serum ima, hs-ctnt, mcp-1 and alp levels with gensini score in patients with acute coronary syndrome

Abstract
Objective: To analyse the correlation of serum ischaemia-modified albumin (IMA), high-sensitive cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT), monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) with the Gensini score in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Methods: 102 patients with ACS who visited our hospital from June 2018 to August 2019 were selected and divided into mild, moderate and severe lesion groups. 102 healthy individuals who visited our hospital during the same period were selected to serve as the normal control group. Changes in serum hs-cTnT levels were detected using chemiluminescence immunoassays (automatic biochemical analysis instrument provided by Siemens company), while serum TG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C, MCP-1 and ALP levels were detected using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). Changes in IMA level were determined using an albumin cobalt binding test. The Gensini score was calculated for all patients, and the correlation of serum IMA, hs-cTnT, MCP-1 and ALP levels with the Gensini score was determined. Results: Serum BMI levels, smoking and drinking history, hypertension, diabetes and LDL-C were significantly increased in patients with mild, moderate and severe lesions (P<0.05), while HDL-C levels were significantly decreased (P<0.05) in these groups. The levels of IMA, hs-cTnT, MCP-1 and ALP in the mild, moderate and severe lesion groups were significantly increased (P<0.05) compared to the normal group. The levels of serum IMA, hs-cTnT, MCP-1 and ALP in the severe lesion group were significantly higher than those in the mild and moderate lesion groups, and showed an increasing trend with the severity of coronary artery stenosis (P<0.05). The Gensini score of patients in the mild, moderate and severe lesion groups was significantly higher than in the normal control group. The Gensini score of patients in the severe lesion group was significantly higher than in mild and moderate lesion groups (P<0.05). Serum levels of IMA, hs-cTnT, MCP-1 and ALP were significantly positively correlated with the Gensini score in patients in the mild and severe lesion groups (P<0.05). The serum levels of hs-cTnT, MCP-1 and ALP were positively correlated with the Gensini score (P<0.05); in contrast, serum IMA levels showed no significant correlation with the Gensini score (P>0.05). Conclusion: Serum levels of IMA, hs-cTnT, MCP-1 and ALP are correlated with the Gensini score in patients with acute coronary syndrome.
