Abstract
This research aimed to evaluate the process of participation of students of Chemistry Degree of Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Bahia (IFBA)-Campus Porto Seguro, BA, in an Interpretative Trail in the Pataxo Village of Jaqueira Reserve in Porto Seguro, BA conceived according to assumptions of Critical Environmental Education and Critical Multicultural Education. The results indicated that it was possible to develop Environmental and Multicultural Education following a critical approach on an indigenous trail, favoring awareness, change towards critical thinking and attitudes of reciprocity towards the environment and society itself. However, it was also observed the need for further discussion and debate of these issues in an interdisciplinary and critical aspect in the Chemistry Undergraduate in Chemistry of IFBA, Campus Porto Seguro.
