Radiology Readiness for Monkeypox: Experience From an Epicenter of the Public Health Emergency.

Monkeypox is a viral illness that became a global outbreak in 2022. Given the emerging public health threat, it is essential that Radiology Departments are prepared. This article reviews key information for Radiologists and Radiology Department Staff, including clinical features, the potential role for imaging, possible imaging findings, and suggested procedures for safely obtaining imaging studies in patients diagnosed with or suspected of having monkeypox.
