Abstract
Digital watermarking is a technique for hiding data by embedding a watermark in the host image to protect the illegal distribution of multimedia data. We propose a two-dimensional Discrete Haar Wavelet Transform (DHWT) based on image water-marking architecture. The performance evaluation of our DHWT-based architecture uses a set of standard test images. The proposed approach is robust against recurrent attacks in the literature and outperforms the state-of-the-art in energy and area savings. The energy and area savings reached $2.824\times$ , and $1.344\times$ , respectively.
