Abstract
Modern active phased array radars (APAR) develop in the direction of high working frequencies and multi-channels with a narrow structural width and short length. The inter-stage coupling of the channels becomes uncontrollable and it is much easier to self-excite for transmitting signals. We have investigated the methods in dealing with the self-excitation phenomenon and spurious signals in the electrical measurement for T/R modules with high working frequencies and compact channel structure, and given specific suggestions from the perspective of amplifier bandwidth, gain of the signal path and precautions for SMT to solve such problems.
