Abstract
This paper presents a design method of DSM (Digital Surface Mode) swath and next overlap based on distributed InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellites. Firstly, the design principle of the single spaceborne SAR swath is explained. On this basis, a design method of DSM Swath and Next Overlap for distributed InSAR satellites is expounded, and it is compared with the traditional design method. By the TanDEM-X system design parameters, the simulation analysis is carried out. The results prove the advantage of the method of this paper compared to the traditional design method. By the method of this paper, the performance of DSM Swath and Next Overlap can be promoted obviously, and more design margin of the satellite will be obtained, and the use efficiency of distributed InSAR satellites is improved as well.
