Beekeeping is among the oldest activities in Sardinia (Italy). Among others, here are produced four valuable unifloral honeys appreciated worldwide for their quality and organoleptic properties, i.e., asphodel (Asphodelus microcarpus), eucalyptus (Eucalyptus camaldulensis), strawberry tree (Arbutus unedo L.) and thistle (Galactites tomentosa).
