Broccoli-shaped Cu-BTC/biochar composite with enhanced water stability for toluene adsorption: Influence of humid air aging

摘要
•Broccoli-shaped Cu-BTC/biochar composite was obtained by one-pot synthesis.•The composite has stronger stability than Cu-BTC under humid air aging.•Over 70% adsorbed toluene of composite was retained after one-month aging.•Aging mainly affected the external surface and particle diffusion adsorption stages.•Stronger surface stability and hydrophobicity enhanced the water stability.
