Abstract
To address the needs of the next-generation of infrared scene projectors, we present the concept of a spatial light modulator (SLM) consisting of a hybridized metamaterial surface and phase change material. Initial results demonstrate the SLM’s ability to achieve better than 1 KHz modulation.
