Abstract
By using the energy storage battery's characteristic of fast response, energy storage battery is introduced to participate in power grid frequency modulation in this paper. Firstly, the secondary frequency regulation simulation model of power grid with energy storage battery is established. Secondly, considering the frequency regulation requirements and the internal structure of the battery, the model which can effectively reflect the internal changes of the energy storage battery is proposed and all aspects of the model are analyzed. Then an equivalent simulation model of two-area interconnected system with energy storage battery is constructed. Finally, considering the demand of power grid frequency regulation and battery state of charge recovery, the battery condition decomposition-adaptive frequency regulation condition and SOC self-recovery condition are carried out. Through the logistic function transformation, the appropriate parameters are selected to formulate the corresponding maximum power of the energy storage battery under different output targets. The correctness and effectiveness of the proposed model and control strategy are verified by experiments with different load disturbances and different control variables.
