摘要
Policymaking for tourism needs a comprehensive analysis, particularly related to the economic sector. More than the geomorphology aspect, the socioeconomic, cultural, environment carrying capacity, and spatial planning are also be considered. The condition often encountered is when the policies are not in line with the environmental carrying capacity and natural resources potential. This research aims to develop a decision support system (DSS) that integrates knowledge-based and technology-based parameters to support sustainable tourism. An information system named Natural Resource Accounting for Coastal Tourism Development Planning (ASAP4) has been built to support decision-makers in the coastal tourism sector. Hence, the stakeholders can combine sustainability aspects while still considering the economic valuation of natural resources. ASAP4 provides relevant and effective solutions by taking advantage of various knowledge related to tourism in the form of spatial-based DSS.
