Tumor microenvironment responsive-multifunctional nanocomposites knotted injectable hydrogels for enhanced synergistic chemodynamic and chemo-photothermal therapies

•A novel nanocomposite hydrogel was synthesized with rapid gelation and excellent injectability.•Robust immobilization of Au NBPs and Pt NCs was achieved via the crosslinking with 4arm-PEG-thiol.•This nanocomposite hydrogel exhibited excellent photothermal effect and nanozymetic performance for TME remodeling and ROS production.•Synergistic chemo-photothermal and chemodynamic cancer therapy was realized on 4 T1 tumor-bearing mice models.
