Abstract
Chondrosarcoma is the most common chest wall malignant lesion. In cases of chondrosarcoma surgery is the preferred type of treatment, because the tumor is resistant to radio- and chemotherapy. 10-year survival rate reaches 92% if wide resection with tumor-free margins could be performed. We present a case of a 50-year man admitted to the Department of Thoracic Surgery with complaints of painless swelling of the chest wall on the left, which has slowly begun to increase recently.
