•CSC increased TLR2 expression in myeloid BM and spleen subpopulations.•CSC increased TLR4 expression in splenic PMN-MDSCs & monocytes/MO-MDSCs.•Ly6G+ but not Ly6G-depleted splenocytes of CSC mice develop in vitro GC resistance.•CSC shifts the LPS response to predominant IKK/NF-κB signaling in Ly6G+ splenocytes.
