LSTM Network for Tap Breakage Monitoring during Tapping

摘要
Aiming at the problem that the tap breaking leads to machining failure and heavy loss in the process of small-diameter internal thread tapping, the research process of tap fault monitoring is analyzed, and a tap breaking monitoring network model based on LSTM is proposed. Firstly, the torque data in the tapping process is obtained through the tapping test, and the sample set corresponding to the fault is formed after feature extraction; Secondly, the monitoring network model is optimized according to the sample set. Finally, the tap breakage monitoring network model with an accuracy of 0.9846 is obtained. The obtained network has a fast convergence speed and high accuracy, which provides a new idea for the intelligence of small-diameter tapping.
