摘要
This paper presents the concept of a Self-Organizing NanoGrid (SONG) that enables the formation of a distributed decentralized DC nanogrid that is formed using simple building-block converters, that can be connected together in an ad hoc manner, and can be operated with minimal technical expertise in the field. The SONG system does not require detailed knowledge of the network or sources/loads or low latency communication, and is able to operate over a wide ratio of available generation and demanded load. This paper shows the concept of SONG and, its operating characteristics and specifications, and implementation of the converter/load/source elements. SONG presents a new concept of a flexible, scalable, fractal grid that provides unparalleled performance at minimal first and operating cost.
