Overlapping genetic susceptibility of seven autoimmune diseases:SPU tests based on genome-wide association summary statistics

•Our study was designed for more autoimmune diseases, compared to previous studies.•An advanced multivariate statistical analysis model, SPU tests, was applied.•We have analysed 7 high quality GWAS summary statistics.•28 novel shared risk genes and 14 Biological pathways of seven autoimmune diseases were identified.
