Abstract
•The convective heat transfer performance of Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structures was studied through experiment and numerical simulation.•TPMS (Gyroid, Diamond, Iwp) structures has significant advantages in convective heat transfer performance compared with the traditional straight-ribbed heat dissipation structure.•The thermal performance of Diamond structure outperforms the straight rib by 84–205%, Gyroid structure outperforms the straight rib by 55–136%, and Iwp structure outperforms the straight rib by 16–53%.
